The "4 Pillars" of Jungian Psychotherapy Continue...
Dr. Murray Stein, our lead presenter in our Zurich seminar series is continuing with what he calls the "4 Pillars of Jungian Psychotherapy." In doing Jungian oriented psychotherapy Dr. Stein envisions 4 central themes of treatment. These are 1) the concept of Individuation; 2) the Therapeutic Relation
ship; 3) Dream Analysis; and 4) Active Imagination.
He presented the "first pillar" of Individuation to rave revues at our initial seminar on August 8, 2008. He followed with a talk on the Therapeutic Relationship in November. The DVD of the first seminar on Individuation is now available for purchase.

Murray Stein, Ph.D. is a training analyst and currently co-president of The International School of Analytical Psychology in Zurich, Switzerland (ISAP Zurich). He is the author of The Principle of Individuation and many other books and articles in the field of Jungian Psychoanalysis. From 2001 to 2004 he was president of the International Association for Analytical Psychology. He has lectured internationally and presently makes his home in Switzerland.
John Hill, MA was born in Dublin 1943. He received his primary and secondary education in Ireland. He received his degrees in philosophy at the University of Dublin and the Catholic University of America. He trained at the C.G. Jung Institute, Zürich, has practiced as a Jungian analyst since 1973. He became a training analyst of the C.G. Jung Institute in 1981 and was a member of the selection committee for twenty years. Together with many colleagues, he participated in the founding of a new training institute under the jurisdiction of AGAP in 2004. He is currently a training analyst of ISAP - Zurich.
Patrizia Michan, MA
is a training analyst in Mexico City. She is the founder and director of the Centro Mexicano C. G. Jung in Mexico City. She has lectured in Mexico, Latin America, United States and Europe. She is an assistant editor for the Journal of Analytical Psychology. Her published articles include: Dismemberment and Reintegration: Aztec Themes in Contemporary Mexican Practice, (Journal of Analytical Psychology) & Analysis and Individuation in the Mexican Psyche: Culture and Context, (Journal of Jungian Theory and Practice). She is currently researching the relationship between analytical psychology, pre-Hispanic mythology and clinical practice.
Paul Brutsche, Ph.D. was born in 1943 in Basel Switzerland. He studied philosophy and psychology, and received his PhD in Philosophy from the University of Zürich. He trained at the C.G. Jung Institut, Zürich, and is in private practice since 1975. He is a former President of the Swiss Society of Analytical Psychology, of the C.G. Jung Institute and of ISAP International School of Analytical Psychology Zurich. His special areas of interest are art and picture interpretation. He has lectured in Switzerland and in different countries in Europe and overseas.
The Asheville Jung Center is an international community bringing together some of the world’s leading teachers of Jungian thought with a global network of students, professionals and lay people.
