The "4 Pillars" of Jungian Psychotherapy...
Dr. Murray Stein, our lead presenter in our inaugral seminar on 8/8/08, has agreed to offer a series of 4 seminars originating out of Zurich. He has entitled the series the "4 Pillars of Jungian Psychotherapy." In doing Jungian oriented psychotherapy Dr. Stein envisions 4 central them
es of treatment. These are 1) the concept of Individuation; 2) the Therapeutic Relationship; 3) Dream Analysis; and 4) Active Imagination.
He presented the "first pillar" of Individuation to rave revues at our initial seminar on August 8, 2008. Dr. Stein has further lined up 3 world-class Jungian analysts from Zurich (Mario Jacoby, John Hill, & Paul Brutsche) to help him teach the remaining 3 seminars. Patrizia Michan, an analyst out of Mexico city, has also agreed to help teach the 3rd seminar with Murray stein and John Hill.
The tentative dates are: 11/10/08, 1/23/09 & 3/13/09. We will send out further announcement when these dates are fully confirmed.

Murray Stein, Ph.D. is a training analyst and currently co-president of The International School of Analytical Psychology in Zurich, Switzerland (ISAP Zurich). He is the author of The Principle of Individuation and many other books and articles in the field of Jungian Psychoanalysis. From 2001 to 2004 he was president of the International Association for Analytical Psychology. He has lectured internationally and presently makes his home in Switzerland.
Mario Jacoby, Ph. D. is a training analyst, supervisor and lecturer at the ISAP (International school for Analytical Psychology, Zurich). He lectures and leads seminars across Europe, the USA, South Africa, Latin America, Israel, etc. He has authored numerous articles and 6 books on Analytical Psychology, among them "The Analytic Encounter" (Inner City), "Individuation and Narcissism", "Shame and the Origins of Self Esteem" and "Jungian Psychotherapy and contemporary Infant Research" (All by Routledge, London).
John Hill , MA, has practiced as a Jungian analyst since 1973, and is a Training Analyst of ISAP Zurich. He received his degrees in philosophy in Dublin and America. He has written on The Association Experiment, Celtic Myth, James Joyce, Home, Dreams and Christian Mysticism.
Paul Brutsche, Ph.D. was born in 1943 in Basel Switzerland. He studied philosophy and psychology, and received his PhD in Philosophy from the University of Zürich. He trained at the C.G. Jung Institut, Zürich, and is in private practice since 1975. He is a former President of the Swiss Society of Analytical Psychology, of the C.G. Jung Institute and of ISAP International School of Analytical Psychology Zurich. His special areas of interest are art and picture interpretation. He has lectured in Switzerland and in different countries in Europe and overseas.
